Precedent retrieval connects the request to past agreements, clauses and decisions with comparable context. In a separate flow, external legal analysis can draw on legislation, regulation and case law while retaining provenance.

The requested change is assessed against the approved position, internal precedents, available context and configured rules. The score applies to the change and does not automatically absorb external legal research; precedent comparability and legal research remain distinct signals.

Analysis and generation
To analyse a negotiation, Mirmi connects the document, internal precedents and approved positions. When external legal research is run, its sources and assessment remain distinct from the operating score. Every signal therefore retains its original material.
Preparing a new template or draft follows a separate generation workflow. Mirmi assembles and proposes wording from analysed documents, identified sources and supplied constraints. The proposal retains its sources through human review and approval. Without a generation-ready corpus, no proposal is produced.
Human review, corrections and the final retained version close the loop and enrich the memory for future cases.

When available precedents, approved positions or information do not sufficiently cover a situation, Mirmi identifies it as new or sensitive and routes it to the configured review. Sourced legal research can complement that review.
Cases without a qualified source follow the configured escalation route.
